Launched in March 2009, Core Equity Services represents the consolidation and history of some of Australia's pioneers in straight-through equities trading and broking services.

As a leading provider of wholesale investment solutions to some of Australia's largest financial institutions, we offer a range of products and services across equities trading, gearing, portfolio administration, equities tax reporting and advisory services.

Central to the vision of Core Equity Services is a single-minded approach that gives us a distinct view of the world. But this didn't happen by accident.

In November 2007 IWL, and its businesses, became non-guaranteed members of the Commonwealth Bank Group of companies. IWL included a range of well-established businesses and products including JDV, Virtual Broker, Echelon, Australian Clearing Services and AUSIEX.

It brought together a team of dedicated financial experts, and a wealth of first-hand industry experience. But we realised that in order to fulfill our true potential we had to find a way of pulling these separate entities together and harnessing all of that talent, passion and innovation in one compelling offer.

Today, Core Equity Services not only includes many historical brands, but is also joined by Colonial Geared Investments, a leading wholesale provider in gearing solutions. And as part of the Commonwealth Bank Group our people share the Group's determination and dedication to deliver superior customer service.

A lot has changed. But one thing that has remained constant is the value we place in the long-standing relationships we have with our clients. Many of whom remain partners of this progressive business.
